APA' s writing styles have developed over the years and some changes have been made in reaction to the information-driven world. The following are some useful tips for those of you who have been asked to work in APAs.

Generally, your document should be formatted according to these guidelines: Now the edges on all sides (top, bottom, lefthand and right) should be only 1 inches each. Text font throughout the entire page should be 12-pt, Times New Roman. The orientation should be left-aligned or left-aligned, resulting in an irregular right-edge.

Your abstract contains a short abstract of all your research.

Usually it is only 150-250 words entered in blocks. You should enter all numbers in your abstract as numbers, not words, except those starting a phrase. Your research work begins on a new page, page 3. All text should be left-justified, with the first line of each section with 5-7 blanks indent from the south.

In the documentation of the original material, the author(s) and the date(s) of the original material should be indicated in the text box. It can be understandable that it can be overpowering to create a document that complies with all these regulations! However, please keep in mind that in case of any doubts you can always contact your manager, who has more insights into the writing convention in your area. It is useful to split the document into smaller pieces and approach the individual pieces one after the other.
