Up-to-date information about the Apple SDKs can be found on the Apple SDKs' website. Swift is the ideal place to get started with iPhone and iPad apps. You can also perform a fast tour from the Swift 3 program in Swift. They both provide you with a sound basis in the Swift programanguage. You will build a basic application named FoodTracker in these classes. Each of the classes are supported by an Xcode sample of how your program should look like and your user interfaces at the end of the group.
When you need to relate to the ideas you have learnt during the lesson, use the vocabulary to freshen up your remember. Terminology is interlinked during class. In order to build applications using the latest technology described in these tutorials, you will need a Mac computer (macOS 10.11.5 or later) with the latest Xcode release.
The Xcode contains all the functions you need to create, build and Debug an application. The Xcode also contains the Xcode XOS SDK, which adds the necessary utilities, compiler and framework for developing Xcode specifically for you. Get the latest Xcode for free from the Apple Store.
From the top right hand side box, input Xcode and hit return. Xcode is the first part of the Xcode application. When asked, please provide your Apple ID and your Apple passcode. The Xcode is loaded into the /Applications folder. Lectures Were Completed with Xcode 8.1, Swift 3 and Xcode 10K.
