Must I speak very good English to be able to compose a good novel?
It' simple to say that you need to know a good command of British language, have a large amount of words, know the nuances of the meanings and have good orthography in order to be able to compose a good novel. Many good books - and even more good ones - are not marvelous illustrations of German (I won't mention any of them).
First, we use "English". There is no need to use English if it is not your mother tongue. Admittedly, the English-speaking world is larger than most, but you can create a good novel in any of them. How about looking at "good novel" in a real world? "Good " fiction is inevitably a success and the other way around.
I' d suggest that a good novel is one that will be appreciated by an audiences of any kind and greatness. But if we choose that "good" is a reflection of our achievements, we can be a winner without good English. It' certainly the better your English skills, the simpler it will be to write a novel in English.
This means you can type in your own tongue and have it translate. Or, if you prefer, just type in English and have it processed. It'?s imperative that your novel be processed. Good editors take your novel and help you refine it by proposing changes where the narrative can be made more powerful, especially where the use of speech makes a genuine distinction.
An experienced interpreter will work with you to understand the importance of your work when changing from one to another one. To put it briefly: You don't need very good English to be able to compose a good novel, but it does help. Have a good knowledge of the languages in which you work.
After all, speech is your instrument. It' like the question of whether you can be a good surgical burpell. It is a linguistic discipline and a mastery of the tongue has always been practised by scientists and experts. Pandit today means "speaking head", but he called someone who knows a lot about writing and the use of languages.
Cause those who were brought up in the tongue had keys to all knowing (pundit = owners of knowing). Most likely your public is even less literate than you, so why take the trouble to learn the subtleties of your speech, why keep the instruments in focus, right? Now that' the very reason we forgot the arts of story telling, songwriting and thought and mass arts suck.
I don't need you to be good at English. All you have to do is be a good author. It'?s not the right word. Fiction has been written in literally a hundred different tongues, and anyone can do it. However, you must be good at getting the message across on the page in your mind.
If you want to hear a good book, you can't tell your thoughts; you have to tell them the idea in writing. Rewrite a great deal, and if you think you have something good to say, let someone else do it. I' ve got a group of folks who are reading my designs and also the shiny works.
Proofs suggest that you do not need to be a classical student or have a diploma in English to be effective in this area. But like any real artisan, you will be better if you have a good grasp of the instruments of your craft. Other traits you need for good fantasy are: fantasy, sensitivity, perseverance, self-restraint, longing and the capacity to withstand distractions and to recognize and prevent delay.
I would recommend that you study thoroughly; rather than choosing'best-selling' works, the former will give you much more information on how to evolve your characters and history. Exercise, and if you still want to pursue the vision, begin to type. Godspeed! They must be a very good narrator who masters the dialog, the storyline etc.

When English is not your native tongue, let someone do it for you. You can employ a proofreader and proofreader to proofread your work, but they can only do so much if your English is inferior. It is not necessary to be able to speak English well to be able to compose a great novel, but no matter what kind of languages you use, it must meet the standard of that one.
Very few people will fight their way through poorly spelled works, in any of the languages.
