Three types of short stories

It is a straightforward process to describe the short novel in contrast to other literature styles, also in pure quality. This short novel differs in many ways from a novel (or a short excerpt from a novel): Moreover, one could differentiate the revelations of the short novel - and its natures - as a more unique, less temperate variant than that of a novel (if the novel deals with revelations at all).

In a short storyline they are redefined at the end and then left in a kind of unchangeable state. We need to discuss the autonomic structure that makes up the other kind we call short film. Epic, lyrical & artificial. Theories of short stories (1977) and New theories of short stories (1994).

The best stories of this kind are those in which the appearance of this lacking part is really surprising from the reader's point of views, although it is (in retrospect) unavoidable. Both in both conventional and modernistic stories, revelations happen at the end (or in some cases shortly after the end, in the reader's knowledge) and illuminate the figures and incidents that preceeded them.

With this in mind, the end of Raymond Carver's'Cathedral' and the culminating portrayal of a classical Sherlock Holmes tale are not entirely unlike. One example of the tradition of twisting is Ambrose Bierce'An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge'. One example of the modernistic "epiphany" history is James Joyce's "Araby" (Dubliners, 1903).

Instead of concentrating on the action, the lyrical storyline is characterised by the accentuation of a recurrent picture or icon around which the narration is revolving and from which it takes on an open and adaptable significance.

Mansfield's short masterpiece'The Fly' is an evident example of this open or open-mindedness. Being''open', the icon does not consist of a read or significance, but allows many. Once it has been set up - usually early in history - the picture, even if it is taken up again and reinterpreted several occasions, stays outwardly statistic.

It' s noteworthy that lyric short stories also require an outer storyline (sometimes with an epic form) that accompanies the evolution of the work. Up to this point, the lyric and epic features have a symmetrical relationship: the picture inform our comprehension of the action, while the outer occurrences extrapolate/develop one or more of the embryonal "meanings" of the picture.

With Mansfield's The Bow Tie, the old chief has'arranged' a period in which he can cry over his deceased boy, but then can't cry. Other classical lyric stories return the centre picture to where an expressiveness was desired but never came, or it reflects the incapacity to articulate; the bulb in Mansfield's story'Bliss'; the set up pieces of music on the grass in Carver's'Why Don't You Dance? music.

The Fly by Katherine Mansfield (1922). This is Katherine Mansfield's'Happiness' (1922). The feeling that part of the narrative is "wrong but right", sudden and random, but fortunately perfectly is something that any normal short novel writer will be used to. In including something so'inappropriate', the writer actually moves two distinct stories that eventually run either simultaneously or equidistantly, both brightening up the other.

While the beetle assumes everyday situations, the realistic action that surrounds it is immersed in an incredible amount of time. It is noteworthy that the word'Artifice' was used by other short history writers, especially Charles E. May, to describe something completely different from what we intended - for Mai it is a kind of popular history, a kind of Allegorical or Fairytale, even though in its native environment - i.e. in the time when verbal writing dominated - the instruments of popular history were probably much less inappropriate.

To me, short artice short destiny is a conscious injecting of a singular non-realistic item into an otherwise realistic game.
