There are four stages in the writing process: prescribing, writing, reviewing and reviewing. PRE WRITING - What kind of writing a college graduate is trying to do, the pre-writing phase can be the most important. It can involve information being read, noted, brainstormed and categorized. This is often not a one-off occurrence, but a continuous ongoing development of the document. While teaching revisions, make sure your kid has enough free speaking out loud about the issues he/she sees in his/her letter.
It can be very hard for some kids, especially delicate ones, so allow them to begin with something small, such as substituting some moderate verb in their papers with more activ. While it can be enticing for a parent to do this phase of the writing cycle for the baby, it is important that they acquire proof-reading abilities for themselves, as this will improve a student's writing over the years.
And, because kids want their writing to be efficient, this can actually be the best opportunity to practice some of the default grade English language pronunciation and Punctuation skills. If the pupils learnt the mechanical principles while writing, they will much more likely recall using them in the years to come.
