Invitation to tender: Send in an inventive, unreleased story with a max. of 2500 words. Authors of all nationalities can take part in the competition and send in several entries. Harper's Bazaar Contest 2018
In order to fill their shoes, take part in our annually held contest for small stories and submit 2,500 words on the topic "Der Spiegel". Entry requirements: The contest is open to persons over 18 years of age, either public or not. Contest ends April 9, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. No Hearst staff, the organiser or their immediate family members, the organiser's promotional agent and advice on merchandising or any other person involved in the preparation and management of the contest may take part in this contest.
Per capita only one contribution will be admitted, which fulfils the above mentioned conditions. After the selection, only the winners will be approached by e-mail, using the personal data provided during registration. Participation in the contest and receipt of the award means consent to use a participant's name, picture and photo for advertising and/or editing in all formats in printed and non-print publications without further discussion.
The third parties are not in any way responsible to winners who are unable to participate. With the participation in the contest and taking into account the publication of your contribution by hearst, you transfer to heart the complete global copyrights to your contribution for all uses in all printed and non-print publications and forms, inclusive, but not restricted to all copyrights to use your contribution in all electronical and numerical forms and in all upcoming mediums, which will be subsequently evolved for the whole duration of the copyrights, as well as all prolongations and expansions thereof, all tenancy and loan and re-transmission copyrights and all similar copyrights, wherever they exist.
At its own option and at any moment, Hearst is entitled to expel or incapacitate any participant. Listenst retains the right to rule out delayed, partial or repeated registration or registration by third persons or agencies. We are not responsible for any delays or losses. Prices must be accepted as indicated and hearts reserve the right to modify the price in the case of unforeseeable events.
If Hearst conducts a prize draw with an organiser for whom the organiser is in charge of the choice and/or the supply of the awards, Hearst is not in charge or accountable for the supply of these awards. Hearst shall in no case be held accountable, whether by agreement, tortious act (including negligence), violation of legal obligations or otherwise, for losses, damages or injuries incurred in the context of this contest.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the Participants undertake to submit themselves to the sole authority of the United Kingdom in any matter relating to or relating to this Agreement.
