As one begins a story
to start a story. I have a question: There is one thing that can drag the readers into the story. Just keep in mind, don't ask silly questions like: When you really wanted, and if it's really related to history, it's okay, but try to do something like write: Then you have to respond to your questions at some point in the story, be it in the next or last phrase of your story.

What is the best place to start my story? Especially if it is a story for children or young people, the readers must get to know your protagonist immediately. If they are connected with your characters the earlier you will integrate them into the story. If your story begins, for example, with the character's sibling coming home from the battle, don't show him that he's going down the hall to open the front and find his sibling there. Start your story from the minute he opens the gate and finds his long-lost sibling there.
Don't start with background stories or information dump where you give the readers a lot of details about your people. Attempt to show characterization through actions and dialog and how a player is interacting with the environment. Consider how to start your story. Writers need to know a great deal of information about their character, because that's what makes them what they are - but it' not necessarily something they need to know. The story must begin with an activity that is indispensable for the readers to comprehend, get involved in or be interested in your story. I don't necessarily mean a homicide or a gunfight or pursuit - I mean, something really has to be done in your story, not just about it - for example the long-sheddin' brothers who come home.
Don't say he comes home - show how it happens - show the action and reaction of your char. Each story needs a stimulating experience - that is the story starting point - it is the why things are changing for your characters now, that particular date at that particular moment.
A stirring up could be something like the long-suffering, prodigal bro who comes home from the fighting, a note in the post, an emergency - an event that sets history in movement. A stirring event is the thing that begins the string of incidents that are your story - the string of incidents that will forever transform the lives of your protagonist.
