When you have written an e-book, you can publish it yourself on Nook and the Kindle. The MOBI format is used for Amazon Kindle books. If you set a rate for your e-book, you should use the same rate for all the different editions of your work. Consumer and web booksellers sometimes have a problem when they find that you charge a different rate on different sites. Type or copy your e-book into text editing applications capable of saving Microsoft Office document (.doc or.docx), text or HTML.

Read your proofreading books. Also ask a colleague to edit your text. Don't use balls or charts in your e-book. No Nook or Kindle can take such a format. Add graphs to the e-book as JPEG pictures with a 72-point per-inch solution. You can use the centering for all pictures in the e-book.

Make a jacket for your e-book with any graphic application such as Microsoft Paint, GIMP, or Photoshop. Covers should be in colour, as will appear in Nook and Kindle bookshops. Please fill in your name and e-mail adress as required. Then click on "Add Title". "You will be asked for information about your textbook, which includes descriptions, titles and prices.

If you are asked to do so, please load your e-book as well as your artwork for converting. When you have completed all the required information properly, click the "Sell" pushbutton. We will convert your e-book and sell it within 72h. Launch a new web browsing pane and go to the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing website.

Fill in your name, your adress and your control information as desired. No US street name, no banking details are required to post on Kindle. Sign in to your profile and click on the "Add new title" tab. Type in your name, your name and your publication privileges for the work.

Please load up the picture of the covers and the e-book-file. "Please fill in your price information as desired and click on the "Publish" tab. A Kindle version of your work will be available on the Amazon website within 48hrs.
