Techniques and tools with which I am writing my fictions
Since my début thriller HUNTERtook off, colleagues have asked me whether I am an "Outliner" or a "Seat Of The Pants" playwright. There are two annotations on a range of ways literature professionals produce their work. On the one hand, the "Outliner" is the designer who carefully schedules his work before he begins to work.
Often he will summarize the story in detail, usually 20-50 pages that describe the main figures, their conflict and all important happenings. Sometimes he will draft several sketches of his design to work out all the courses of action and possible logic gaps in anticipation before he begins the real work.
Once everything is settled, these writers can usually quickly start drafting their first design, knowing that the outcome is almost definitive and needs little editing, or that they need to erase a great deal of footage because they don't find a serious issue until after they have written a design.
Famous outliner are the historic fiction author Ken Follett, the crime author Robert Crais and the deceased director of thrillers Robert Ludlum (whose contours sometimes comprise more than 100 pages). The other end of the methodical range is the "seat-of-the-pants" author (abbreviated SOTP). Those writers are writing without much, if any, forethought: they are not writing in advance:
A few SLOTP writers have an imagination of the beginning and end of the story, and maybe a few outlooks. Normally the author begins with a subtle touch of an image - a sequence, a personality, a concept, a topic - and simply dips in and begins to type to see where the term leads him.
But this design is often chaotic, loaded with a lot of foreign matter and character, errors in the action logics and other unnecessarily or badly thought-out items. Well known SOTP authors are Lee Child, Stephen King and the deceased mystery writer Vince Flynn. Lajos Egri's The Art of Dramatic Originals is a real classical in the how to written class. It is easy to convert the teachings of the textbook into a novel or any kind of mystic. Egri's one-of-a-kind input and value is to show how to create a fictional work that is powered or incorporated by an concept or abstraction - in other words, the kind of textbook I like to have.
It is an inestimable guideline for all those who want to create serious fictional tales with clues. Christopher Vogler's The Writer's Journey provides a one-of-a-kind way of composing literature. Plot & Structure by James Scott Bell is another precious how-to notebook about the art of typing and a new invention.
A major challenge for most literature experts is how to create a history that leads somewhere and in a way that attracts the reader's interest. Bell's novel is about constructing beginnings, mids and ends that hold a readers seat and turn pages.

Finally, I would like to say that for centuries a large number of large volumes have been produced by many thousand writers who have been struggling with nothing more than keel pins, nails and crayons scribbled on vellum and inscriptions.
This was done without the help of write or user instructions, without a computer or text processor and without any fictitious writeware. Also, none of these breakthroughs can replace your own talents, rigorous work and ongoing practices in the arts of typing.
