Non-fiction is

Nonfiction is content (sometimes in the form of a story) whose creator takes responsibility in good faith for the truth or correctness of events, persons or information. Non-fiction genre: New publications and popular books, including espionage on whales: Reading non-fiction is more important in school and is more important today than ever. Encouraging children to read is not necessarily a question of fiction and fairy tales. A non-fiction novel, a story of actual people and actual events, told with the dramatic techniques of a novel.

Topic is always topicality

His Rathbones Folio Literary Award went this weekend to The Return, Hisham Matar's memoirs about his late death, whose 1996 Muammar Gadaffi was almost certainly killed in a 1996 slaughter in a Tripoli jail. On the first pages of the volume is a tale about Matar's older sister, who flees through the hills from the dark characters lurking in front of his threatening cloakroom.

Which would be exciting in the fiction, is - because truth - deterring. Matar's skill in typesetting and narrative, in combination with narrated and recalled details, makes for something unique. It is one of the few major non-fiction and fiction prizes in the world, and the short list included several writers who have slid back and forth between fiction and non-fiction in their careers:

Until now Matar has been better known for his books, while Francis Spufford is a celebrated non-fiction author whose first novel Golden Hill has enchanted many. The Argonauts, about their wild romance for their transcendental partners, and Laura Cummings The Vanishing Man, about a man's passion for Velázquez, are non-fiction books that are as playfully formal and inventively as many of them.

For Barthélemy a third way was followed, which combined fiction and scholarship. Contemporary works such as Karl Ove Knausgård's My Struggle and Chris Kraus's I Love Dick also surpass the categorisation: they are on sale in fiction bookstores, but attract the authors' memory and life unaffected. With regard to the hierarchy of literature, there has often been an implicit comprehension that authors of novels somehow deserve more recognition than authors of non-fiction.

Fortunately, this thought is thrown into the long tide by the victory of Professor Matar, who recognizes what the reader already knows: that the really rewarding differentiation is between good and evil textbooks.

Non-fiction textbooks

A non-fiction book is a depiction of a topic that is presented as fact. It may or may not be correct, that is, it may give either a real or a misrepresentation of the issue in hand. Notice that the coverage of the convictions of others in a non-fiction book form is not necessarily a confirmation of the ultimative truthfulness of these convictions, it is quite simple said that it is truth that humans believe that (for such subjects as folklore, religion).

Fiction books can also be published about these other works. The non-fiction is one of the two major departments, which is mainly used in the library, the other is fiction. Non-fiction books, however, do not necessarily have to be in text form, since images and films can also pretend to represent a fact.
