Submission - Hardman & Swainson

We' re looking forward to receiving your entries and are looking for new and existing talents. Entries include literature, women's literature, historic literature, criminality and thrillers, horror, YA, intermediate, memoirs, narratives, non-fiction books incl. populary and story, other high-quality non-fiction. We' re very discriminating when hiring new writers, so don't be frustrated if your work isn't for us.

We do not accept poems, theatre pieces / script / screenplays or very small child / storyboards. We' re interested in cosmopolitan literature, but US writers can primarily be better serviced by an US agency, unless there is a pressing need to have a British one.

Please e-mail a cover and include a one-page summary and the complete script. Please e-mail a cover with a description of your work, why it has a place on the bookcase and why you are eligible to review it, along with a suggestion and a reference section of the entire work when it is finished.

We''d like to see everything in one fell swoop, so please attach the example materials with your request - either as an appendix or in the text of the emaill. We' re reading everything we get, but for the vast majority of those we can't replace, we just don't have it.

While this is a very subjective transaction, so it is worth holding out by other means, but if you find that you are repudiated by media and editors then it may be worth your while looking for advice from a literature consultant who reads and criticizes for a charge.
