Are you dreaming of a novel? You may have been reading a lot of literature about reading or taking a course, but you are still puzzled on your way forward. I am Joanna Penn and currently I am a writer of literature under two different pseudonyms. I' m a writer of award-winning, best-selling thriller and obscure fantasies under J.F.Penn, and I and my mother are a writer of cute romances under Penny Appleton.

I' ve authored 18 books and several shorts since 2009 and earn my livelihood with them. I have made many errors on my way, so hopefully I can help you avoiding them and make your dream of a novel come true. This pen is like an ice-berg, with concealed recesses that you can explore all your time.

If you are going to start your first novel, it can be amazing to be able to learn it all. However, you only have to know the small part of the mountain of ice above the sea to be able to write one! What do you want to start a novel for? Are you just holding your books in your hand, do you have a fervent wish to make a difference in people's life with your words, or do you want to earn an incomes with your work?

Responses to these quizzes determine what you are writing, how you are publishing and whether you are satisfied with the outcomes. Look at your prospective readership. It took reeducation to realize an idea, because you can't make a script without it. If you go to a new town, where do you want to go first? Want to see what? Would you like to dine, dance or go to culture events?

Turns out that many other folks also like cemeteries, and when I began to share images and start posting about them, I found a whole new group!

As soon as you have adjusted to your inquisitiveness and begun to note down your thoughts, you will find that over the course of the years they merge into possible tales. Even if you have been reading tens of thousand of books, it is still tough work to make a history that the reader loves. There are too many authors trying to begin a novel by putting words on the page that have no sense, and soon they run out of strength and wonder what's going on.

Here you need to know the fundamentals of the storyline but don't be afraid, it doesn't have to be intricate. Think about what you as a readership like about your favourite textbooks. Where do the accounts begin and end? What do you want to turn the pages for? Isn' that a serial?

What do you want such a book for? As an example, I am writing psychic thriller and my ARKANE show has been described as'Dan Brown encounters Lara Croft'. People who read my novels like Steve Berry, James Rollins, Clive Cussler and James Patterson, writers of fast-paced adventures and thrills, many with a touch of supernaturalism.

That kind of storyline usually has a unique character who has to rescue the planet before the evil boys ruin everything. That meets the expectation of people who like psychic suspense. A further great example is the romantic style, in which the reader is one of the most greedy and sophisticated in the field of music.

To please romantic reader you have to provide the HEA, the Happily Ever After, as well as mandatory sequences like the first kis. Utilize the classical storyline to extend your idea. You will find it easy to invent the different facets of your history if you are following it.

He is the heroes of their history (think of me!). Why and what does your nature want? Return to the book you like the most and you will probably find that these are the key elements of these tales. As a matter of fact, everyone begins with a first design, and most writers would never show this design to anyone.

As soon as you comprehend that you will start rewriting your work later, especially if you first, then you can let go of any direction of judgement about what you are writing. How the hell did my personality get into this predicament anyway?! However, you cannot work on a empty page, so just try to get as much down as possible.

If it'?s so important to you, why don?t you plan your typing times? I' m using the Google calendars and plan my typing times in ingots. If I had a full-time work, I would get up at 5 a.m. and wrote before work because I knew that I would be braindead when I got home.

When you are in a certain place at a certain point in the day, you need to concentrate. You' re here to type. You should adjust a timers and begin small, as it requires endurance and you will have to develop it over the years. Attempt to type for ten-minute periods and simply record what your characters are doing in a particular location.
