This is good news, because I always thought that writing was due to genius and inspiration. To learn to write well takes time and requires the will to improve every day. Too often authors switch to the past when they write the present, or the other way around. Self-treatment does not have to be either difficult or aching. So the more you devote yourself to the " rule ", the better it will be to write well. A good writer has more to do with good self-penning than anything else.
