They want to make a little history. I' ve described here how to spell for the first time, but I get asked about it every time. The tip: Talk to yourself and you will amuse the reader. And if you are fascinated by your history, it will also be your reader. You know your own kind, you're the best.

To set high targets on my best achievement inspired me to my best work. When you want to type quickly, you must urge yourself to do so. I' m crowding around like this all the while. An author who urges perfection not only composes quickly, but with brilliance. You should not aim for "Make it perfect", but "Write it almost!
" When you concentrate on quick typing, you will do well. When you concentrate on good typing, your typing will be sluggish - and it will not be good. Chekhov is the kind of person you're looking for. By urging you to quickly type, like Chekhov, you're dealing with the intuitional, creativity side of your mind. With slower and more analytical typing, you can eliminate your creativity and hinder your instinct.
So, if you have high production targets, you need to do them. You' re a writers, you' re not working any tougher than you have to. Don't spend your free day dealing with tasks that don't enhance your typing or your bottom line. Allow me to tell you a tale - and this one I' m really serious. Some years ago, a publisher asked me for a two-book offer to make a few brief gifts.
and I measured the length of an average work at around 15,000 words (they had a multitude of pictures). After finishing the first volume, I handed over the script to the editor-in-chief - 34,800 words. I' d worked on this little volume for eight whole few days, from research to typing to editing and transcribing - eight whole full days to collect a crummy 19,000 words.
By the time I began the second volume, I had the job of a scientist. I' ve greatly diminished the research I put into the work. On a seven-part layout, I put the volume down to seven sections, 18,000 words, and I ceased to finish. The best of all, the second was better than the first because it didn't have to be changedurgically.
Working at my desk, but don't work any more than you have to. One can spoil a work by dwelling on it - especially if one compulsively rewrites it. With the first design you type quickly, always forward, never looking back. The second design focuses on making it slimmer and firmer, avoiding repetitions, editing excessively narrative, correcting ambiguities and erasing all the floral fiction that your readers don't need.
"Allow you to spell bad. Consessive Perfektionism ruins good handwriting. When you' re possessed by making the right tale, you' re not going to end up with a tale at all. If you agree with bad spelling, you let the words run. Ray Bradbury wrote about a private investigator called Elmo Crumley (named after James Crumley, a hard-boiled thriller author) in his novel entitled The Death Is a Lonely Business.
He wants to compose a novel, so the storyteller (a fictionalised variation of Bradbury himself) tells him to be a novelist. Type quickly and easily. Allow yourself to spell poorly in the first outline. If you have killed Perfektionism once, if you have learned to type quickly and easily, you can type with brilliance - perhaps as brilliant as Bradbury, Steinbeck or Thurber.
Stage 6: Practise your typing as a job, not as a pastime. I' ve been reading several volumes about typing that encourage "writing practice" - the stuffing of memoirs or magazines with observation of awareness. As an example, one of my works said to take a stroll, watch everything along the path, which is rose, and then fill a few pages of a diary with thoughts about "Pinkness".
" Now, there is no damage in such drills, and this type of drills can certainly enhance your observation abilities. Uh-huh. But if you really seriously want to get over being a writer, then I would suggest you practise-that is, selling writings for pub. Enrol your story, chapter and article for publishing.
What makes this kind of surgery better than stuffing pages in a notepad? After all, when you type to yours, you are typing with a particular intent and a particular use. You' re looking at a readership. It' forcing you to become a novelist. If you focus on publishing, you will be able to be discipline in your work.
You' re working to increase your performance and your efficiency - and the quality of your work. Your letter won't just end up in a ledger. So, be diligent, type every day and hand in your work for publishing. You better gather a pile of refusal receipts, because that is what serious authors do.
