Did you ever walk out of a movie theater and say: "I think I could probably write something better"? It'?s a big undertaking to write a script. Do you have a brilliant and unique idea for a film or TV show? You have to write the script in a proper industry format before you can use or sell the idea.

When you have a great story, it might be worth writing it first as a play or book.

Like in the case of a book, I suggest making at least three designs. Once you have completed your first design, review it once without working on it (but you can take notes). Your second design allows you to concentrate on important structure changes, such as gap-fulling, character immersion, removal of non-advancing character, and even re-writing whole sequences.

Your third design allows you to concentrate on polish, especially to make your dialog popular. Cinema is a collaboration business. In most movies, several scriptwriters work on a screenplay, and then, during the entire movie making pathway, the screenplay is changing as a result of feedbacks from the producer, the actor and the direct. It' not always simple to be a scriptwriter in Hollywood.

Often the first author of a script is not even recognized because so much of the screenplay has been overhauled. Although our movie is fortunate enough to be purchased, my odds of having my name on the movie as a first novelist and a stranger to the business are still pretty slim.
