Before I even start writing, I tend to describe all my books as part of a series. Update your design by starting with the first draft. Perhaps if you are one of these new authors, I can give you some advice to help you finish your work and start a writing careers. Some authors find that the tempting issue of "What if..." triggers a chain of incidents that become theirs.

Like the first glimmer of the magic mystery that became the innocent magician flashed for me as I swam by my own pools. It was a lively and visible part of my mind, and the history began to grow from there. It was my intention to make a larger history, a history that encompassed many different civilizations, many different lands and the intertwined life of a large group of people.

The falcon throne, volume 1 of the serial, arose from this research - and from my continuing interest in socio-political and familialism. This is only the first stage. When you begin to write with nothing more than that first light sparkl? Your work will most likely be put to a deathbed.

While you immerse yourself in your history as it unfolds through the write processes, you will be inspire by new thoughts, new discoveries and new ways to reach your goal. You could, as a consequence, follow the "what happens" part of your sketch, but find other and better ways with the "how" of these incidents.

Here is the thing about plots and sketching: it's a crucial part of the game, but it's inevitably an "outside in" one. There is an analytic detachment from history because you look at it in an objective way. However, composing the first design is an "inside out" experiment. One could say that when you outline your novel, you wear the editor's hat.

And when you begin to wear it, you wear your author's hat. If you reread your finished first design, change the trim. If you' re going to do your first recast, oops! You' re back in your writer's hat. Can' t emphasize enough how important it is that you give yourself the right to research when composing your first design.

Be sure to stay with your design if it still works, but don't hesitate to change it if you find thrilling new scenarios and diversions or if a player becomes more important than you thought. Willer was an extras player with a line of dialog in the early design of The Innocent Mage.
