But let's get serious: book clubs can be a great way to get your staff involved, promote your corporate identity and of course teach some new things. Let's see how to have the best book club your staff could wish for.
Attempt to interview your own staff in your preferred way to see if there is a big wish. Hold your club at about six to ten persons. I' m recommending this number because it is perfect for a vivid debate of the whole group. When you have more than a ten interested parties, no hassle!
You will want to consider the fact that not everyone will always attend every session, and you can try to break into smaller groups during the session to house large groups. Set a date and times for a date. Every session depends on what works for your business, but I suggest a one-hour session.
Also, I suggest you meet once a week; more often than that and it can be a fight for the timetables, but not less and you can never get the club going. When your club will be staff only, you can use a large boardroom. Publishing the book plan for the next six to twelve to twelve moths in a visual area will help remember when their favourite book will be published and make sure they are preparing for the encounter.
