Find out how to create an eBook with iBooks Author! It has never been simpler than now if you've ever felt the need to create your own work! Two new changes are to your advantage: eBooks: And now that an eBook has become fashionable (and even favored by many), you no longer have to be worried about your eBook being printed to be able to sell it.
Another big difference is that e-shops like iBooks or Amazon.com allow freelance writers to enter their work directly without the trouble of signing a contract with a big publishing house. So, to make and resell a product, all you have to do is to make a document!

Simply browse the iTunes Store for "iBooks Author" or click on this shortcut to the application. An attractive artwork is a good thing, but you create an iBook interactively here, and you can always set it one level higher! iBooks Authors allows you to include an introduction to your iBook that will be played when the users opens your iBook. iBooks have a proper function where it can playback a film when the product launches for the first time.
It is a great way to present the game with something interesting and motivational. Click in the iBooks Authors books section on the menu bar below on Introduction Media: Locate intro.mov in the same media directory where you found the covers picture and drop it on the area in iBook author that says "Place film or picture here".
Please be tolerant; iBooks Author may take a few seconds to edit the film. You can use a still picture instead if you do not want to use your movie as an introduction medium. When you don't use introduction guides, your iBook opens directly to the index.

Regularly reviewing the conceptions and suggestions presented in your textbook will significantly enhance the reader's capacity to maintain this newly acquired knowledg! And that' s not all - pictures can also be interactiv in your iBook! A further nice thing about iBooks Author is the possibility to include illustrations. As there is enough going on on the first pages, please make a new empty page to place a new interactivity on.
Browse to the media directory of the start project/epicture: fng and dragging it to the widgets as shown below: Make a tag named Tap to Enlarge and point it at the turtle picture on the pinboard. Make a tag named Turn on the light and point it at the light.
Drag-and-drop a tag and point it to the point. Make a tag named Menus key and point to the Menus key. Make a name for a navigation arrows and point to the name. You sometimes need to show a lot of related pictures, but you don't want them to take up too much room in your work.
What does iBooks Author do with such issues? In order to present a set of pictures, you need to attach a galery wizard to your iBook. To move your new chapters and pages, you can use the area on the lefthand side of the page. In iBooks Author, writing a volume has been quite easy so far. You' ve added your text, added interactivity and displayed a preview of the text on your machine to make sure it looks and feel the way you want it to.
But you still need to publish your work in a way that your enthusiastic readers can use. Exports your iBooks. It has all the interactivity you need and you can download it to your iPad or give it to a buddy for his iPad.
You cannot however, offer the product for sale. Exports your books as PDF. Then you can resell it yourself, give it away for free, publish it on your website, etc. This is a great choice if your text is not full of multimedia, as PDF files cannot contain embeded videos, picture libraries or other interactivity.
By choosing one of the first two option, you can easily save your eBook in the size of your choosing and then redistribute it as you wish. In order to easily exported your work to iBooks Author for deployment, browse to FileMaker Pro Files... Here you will see an option to exported your work as an iBooks or PDF or simple text documen.
By exporting the text, all interaction items are removed so that you can use the text editors. Just select your selections here, click Next and click on the next screen to store your files in the desired formats. And as you can probably imagine, the sale of the product through the iBookstore is a bit more intricate!
If you' re interested in publishing your book through the iBookstore, you need an iBooks user name and password that you use in iTunes Connect. If you are an iPhone application programmer, you'll need a new iTunes Connect e-mail address that uses a different e-mail address than your development one. You also need iTunes Producer to download your iBook to Apple. iTunes Producer is similar to uploading your Xcode iBook.

When you have registered for an iBooks user profile and are willing to release your iBooks, go to File\Publish: iBooks Author first checks your files for bugs. Log into your iTunes Connect and choose whether you want to upload a new song or update an existing song:

To stop editing, select the eBook in iTunes Connect > Rights and Prices > Modify Existing Territories and then select "Available for Sale" to "No" if you find that you made a mistake in the eBook after you sent the eBook to Apple. From this point, you can work on your work and resubmit it using the "This is an upgrade for an already released book" feature.
There are different authorization periods for your iBook. My experiences show that my textbook was accepted on the same date that I filed it. I' ve authored an online eBook with iBooks Author, A Beginner's Guide to Creating Mobile Apps with the Corona SDK, and had a lot of sales hit in the iBooks shop.
