Coming up with brief, straightforward phrases requires courage. In my opinion it can take a great deal of courage to speak directly and briefly. But hopefully you can see in this one example how big the distinction is when you reduce your letter to the essentials.

It is a more advanced technology to ensure that your letter makes overall meaning, the sections merge and your points are clear. Take a crayon and a sheet ofaper. Edit your design from top to bottom and put a one-line abstract for each section on the page.

When I use the same words over and over again in a diary, I find my letter tends to repeat itself. It can be very difficult to edit.

It is often more difficult than designing a new work.
