The Microsoft Word 2007 word processing program is part of the Microsoft Office 2007 suite of applications. It allows the creation of various kinds of document, among them fiction, instruction manual, handbooks, poster, flyers and brochures. Word 2007 contains special functions and options that help the reader to customize a booklet.
You can customize the fonts, page sizes, header and footer, tables of content, coversheet, and print settings to make a base booklet, for example. Launch Microsoft Word 2007. Select the "Page Layout" page and then click on the small arrows in the lower right of the " Page Setup " group.
Select the "Margins" page and adjust the border for your album. In the " Orientation " section, select "Landscape", then click on the drop-down list in the "Pages " section and then on the "Book" item. Press the "Okay" pushbutton. Generate small borders for your booklet by selecting the "Margins" item from the "Page Setup" group.
Select the "Narrow" item. On the first page on which you want your cover page to appear, click on the "Pause" item in the "Page Setup" group. Select the "Next page" and then the "Layout" page. In the " Vertical alignment " section, click on the "Center" item and then on the "OK" pushbutton.
Select the "Insert" register card and then the "Cover sheet" pushbutton from the "Pages" group. Fill in the desired information for your front page and then click on the "OK" pushbutton. Again click on the "Insert" register card and then on the "Page number" item in the "Header and footer" group.
Specify the position and format of the page number you want to use, and then click the "OK" icon. On the" Page layout" page and then click on the "Page margins" item in the "Page background" group. Please chose the desired frame for your booklet and then click on the "OK" icon.
Select the "Page Layout" page and then the "Topics" item. Select a topic to modify the colour, fonts and effect of your booklet. Click on the "Live Preview" and then on the "OK" pushbutton to store the changes. Generate a directory by clicking on the "References" register card and then on the "Table of Contents" item.
Choose the required format for your index and then click on the "OK" icon. This will be added to your booklet.
