Do you prefer to keep your short stories extremely short? As you publish your short stories in magazines and journals. After putting all your efforts into writing, it will now be difficult to focus your attention on something completely different. Have your story written and published. We have partnered with Scoop Magazine to present this amazing storybook contest - what they think is their best ever contest! Prizewinning writer S. F. Said, whose works Varjak Paw, The Outlaw Varjak Paw and The Phoenix are among the winners. He will publish his story in the March special issue of Scoop magazine - on World Book Day!

There' ll also be a winning ceremony at Rye Books where you can tell your story to your boyfriends and mates! You can have a history of up to 500 words - records over 510 will be disabled. There will be a winner's birthday announcement on March 1 (World Book Day) and a winners' dinner at Rye Books on March 3, 2018.

Born in Newbridge, Co Kildare, Ireland, Emma Tobin is 19 years old and is living there with her family, a little boyfriend, four kittens and some big minnows. In her first year at UCD, Emma is a student of English, philosphy and touring. mma is a writer of poetic, fictional and fictional music. She has written two books and is working on her third, a modern YA novel entitled'Paperweight Soldiers'.

She is blogging on Abcofageenager.blogspot.ie and regularly contributes to the art show Artyfacts on KFM Radio in Kildare. She has published a number of articles in the Irish Times. Emma's Poesie has won a number of prizes, among them the Trocaire/Poetry Ireland annual poetry contest in the categories older postal primaries in 2014 and 2015.

She was awarded the Conor Bowman Youth Prize at Hopkins Summer School 2014. She is not on the short-list for the Hennessy Writer of the Year Awards in the EMP competition. You' ll find her on Facebook as Emma Tobin Writer and on Twitter as @EK_Tobin.
