Rowling became one of the best-selling writers on this or any other planets seven volumes later when Hogwarts, Muggle and Quidditch made their way into our culture dictionary.
Rowling's popularity has made a hole in the children's bestseller lists. Publishers Weekly was the last to catalogue the best children's literature in 2001. This was long before Rowling's last band in 2007, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", was selling 15 million in the first 24 hour period and in one single trading days eclipsed the bestseller "The Poky Little Puppy", which first appeared in 1942[Sources: Anyone?
Rowling had already delivered about 450 million Harry Potter copies by 2011[Source: ABC News]. If we say "or so" because trying to catch the sale of a volume is like trying to catch a golden snip during a round of Quidditch. As a matter of fact, if you read this phrase to the end, a few hundred more Harry Potters and Cat in the Hats have been aired.
