What do you think of the publisher of a book?

Rewards can be enormous and lasting. Prior to contacting a publisher, do your market research and find out what companies publish the type of book you have written. As a publisher, how to buy more titles? I' d like to introduce you to a radically new book publisher idea: the fewer titles you release, the more you will have. We have since released seven volumes that break the habits of major editors to produce several hundred volumes in the same period of one year.

The seven accounts generated a turnover of over four million euro on the small markets of the Netherlands and Belgium. Film and publication copyrights for two of our titles were distributed to over ten different markets. Nevertheless, the book publisher regards the concept of having so few titles published as..... mad.

This was the chorus when we started: With only ten novels per year you won't be generating any bestsellers. Frequent editors believe that you need to release literally a hundred titles to get your hands on a bestseller. After all, the publication of a plethora of textbooks is a tradition of the past.

Editors have to adapt to the present situation, in which the web has created new regulations. Moderate produce is inevitable. To publish several hundred rare and rare works a year means that most of your precious resources are devoted to the production of average quality work. We have fifteen employees to make sure that everything we do lives up to our own high standards: we have several writers for each book, as well as our own designers, on-line marketers and events organisers. Attracting great writers, polishing a script into a great novel, finding new ways to advertise a book.
