.. the less they said about it, the better. Each day I get a message from a writer who wants to be "better". A book for all kinds of writers and all kinds of writing Whether you write essays for school or fiction for fun, this book helps you to be a better writer.
Becoming a better writer
Above all, if you don't have anything long-term, you don't need to plan, you don't need to write every day and you can be sure that motivation placards with Hemingway are completely superfluous. As with Ryan Holiday, I think it's a flaw number one to want to be a writer. In the past I wanted to be a writer and the only thing I got in exchange was innumerable blogs full of useful information.
It' only for my own self. Letter for the purpose of letter. Our culture's Paradigma seems to change from "quality over quantity" to an obsession to increase our capacity to convey the real qualities. Don't type. However, don't be deceived that typing works like painting, because if you come from someone who does both, then not.
It is easier to paint a tree if you paint it 1000 often, but you will not be better at expressing your thoughts and thoughts in words by text. There' s nothing coolest about being a writer than, say, anything else. It'?s not a bizarre fight. It' a profession for most authors, and most of the writer writes things they don't really care about.
Sometimes you don't even have the luxuries of being able to write because of your finances. There is a real trend towards romanticisation - the proactive rejection of understanding. That means that genuine advances (at least in written form, I believe) are made in taking account of the messages that we want to convey, so that we can face up to the chaos of our own shortcomings. If you don't want to see that you have shortcomings to begin with, you don't want to get better and no matter how big your ad/history/idea is, if folks can't get it or don't care, it will be squandered.
A great and easy place for improving is to write about things you want to know more about and in the ideal case to exchange them with a fellowship of individuals interested in the same ideas/topics. The vocabulary is important, because in some ways certain words are better than others when it comes to communicating a certain notion.
Words are important if no one has said that to you, because they are a standards to which we as a human society stuck a long and long ago and which greatly facilitates our approach to them. Sometimes, if you just look for errors once more, it could make a big deal how a percent of your readership sees your articles, and it could result in better communications, which is what we are trying to do.
