The Freewriting Process

The writing style that Peter Elbow invented in 1973 is similar to brain storming, but is composed in sentences and paragraphs without interruption. This will help to improve the linguistic competence of second speakers - i.e. the capacity to generate lightly typed speech (as distinct from the precision that is important, of course, but better targeted later in the process).

Just like a brainstorm, don't be concerned about proper grade or orthography; as opposed to brain storming, type in sentences and paragraphs; REMAIN YOUR HAND. When you can't think of anything, just repeat your topic (e.g. "busy traps, busy traps ") or something like "I'm waiting all the time for thoughts to come and they will, I'm waiting all the time for their wills.

If you can't think of the words in your mother tongue, DO feels free to use an incidental one, but don't go overboard; DO lasts for 15 or 20 min or until you have the feeling that you have enough to begin your work or research.

NOTICE: In Peter Elbow's initial form of free-writing, which should not only produce thoughts but even a theme, the author wrote for a few moments, chose an idea and then wrote about this new theme for several moments and then repeated this whole thing again and gradually refined his theme.

It can be useful if you really start from zero and are not even sure what you want to post about.
