I. So what's fantasy?
So what's fantasy? Fantasy, from the Greek ???????? and means'to make visible', is a generation of fantasy that focuses on fantasy/imagination. That can mean witchcraft, the psychic, alternative world, superhero, monster, fairy, creature magician, mythical hero - basically everything an writer can think of outside of the world. In the imagination, the enchanted or psychic element serves as the basis for the action, the settings, the characterization or the action in general.
Today, fantasy is loved in a wide variety of mediums - movies, TV, comics, gaming, arts and literary - but it is predominant and the most powerful place has always been in writing. You can tell fantasy tales about anything, anywhere, at any time and with virtually no restrictions. An apparently easy action can be turned into a fantasy in just a short moment:
You can see that an everyday thing becomes something phantastic or imaginative, like a regular cuddly toy that comes to live before the children's gaze - the story becomes a fantasy. The following are some of the best known and most commonly used.
Medieval fantasy tales in the countryside; especially concentrated on themes such as King Arthur and his chivalrous friends, king's courtyard, witchcraft, magic, such... Often it is people who are confronted with miraculous enemies like fire-breathing kites, wicked sorcerers or mighty sorcerers. They are fantasy tales that play in an fictional and/or epoxy environment; that is, they show a character on some kind of questo.
The sub-genre became particularly famous in the twentieth and still dominates many of today's favourite fantasies. Exceptional are J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and C.S. Lewis' The Narnia Histories. Shorts containing fantasy and character - such as goblins, faeries, witches, etc. - that use magic to do good and/or bad.
Featuring prince and princess, fairytale patronesses and evil step-mothers, helping wretched leprechauns and devious leprechauns, magic monkeys and magic dragonflies. With Fantasy, writers and viewers can perform their miracles on the magical and miraculous while going beyond what is really possible in our age. In addition, some fantasy novels (especially fairytales ) face the challenges of the actual life and provide answers through magical or other anecdotes.

Imaginative aspects are an integral part of this environment. Prior to Tolkien, the fantasy category consisted of tales that took place in our own worlds but contained fantastical features. There are things in his realm that we consider amazing, things that are part of the nature of the cosm os that he has made.
Of course, the awesome part of this story is the speaking turtle and the rabbit and their ability to think like people. It is particularly catchy because of the morality or the lessons that each story concludes; in this case "slow but constant improvement is winning the race", which is still a well-known proverb today.
Imagination is particularly well represented in populism, much more than most other categories. From fantasy-classic movies like The Lord of the Rings and The Narnia Story to contemporary favourites like the Harry Potter show, the Twilight and Percy Jackson and the Olympic athletes, many now infamous movies and movies seem to have created huge numbers of fans over night.
Lithely selling a billion copies, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter range is the most widely read book collection ever made. Indeed, the Harry Potter world is vast within the world of populism. These fantasy novels are both historic and noteworthy, as is the resulting relation between the writer and her family.
With Harry's last trip to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Rowling even dedicated a tribute to her fans: Because of their appeal, the seven Harry Potter albums were turned into eight blockbuster titles (some of the most popular in film history), resulting in an extensive merchandising and video game store, and then on to the opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios - to name just a few.
The devotion and excitement of her community of enthusiasts also prompted Rowling to create Pottermore, an immersive on-line space within the plot of the Harry Potter franchise, where enthusiasts can become Hogwarts magicians and undergraduates, and which continues to publish contents years after the release of the definitive work.
Harry Potter is a powerful force when it comes to fantasy in pop music. HBO's Game of Thrones, is one of the most viewed TV shows featuring George Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Game of Thrones, like J.R.R. Tolkien's work, plays in an imagined state.
However, these tales are singular because the fantasy items that are part of the book - kites, whitewalkers, giants, etc. - are all referred to, but it is believed that they have died out or stopped to be. In this way the kites are even more magic and horrible to see, because humans believe that they have disappeared from the underworld.
Stephanie Meyer's Twilight is another show with a large following. Meyer's work is also particularly noteworthy for the vast library of fantasy novels created by enthusiasts that include character and/or element of the initial story that emerged from its release. The Twilight franchise has also made the tale of evil vamps "trendy" - it has significantly increased the appeal and output of vampiric writing, movies and theater.
From a technical point of view, sci-fi could be regarded as a sub-genre of fantasy, since it contains psychic tension. It is always different from fantasy, however, because it is more scientifically and future-oriented than magic and (often) mediaeval. Unexpectedly the most powerful sci-fi narratives are George Lucas' Star Wars movies; other highlights are the TV show Star Trek and books like H.G. Wells' The War of the World's and Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Just like sci-fi, it could be regarded as part of the technical genre of fantasy, but it is also always differentiated from fantasy. The primary purpose of the horrors is to encourage anxiety and fright in the public, sometimes with psychic features such as spirits, maggots, monsters, daemons, etc.. Classical movies like The Exorcist and Poltergeist, the famous TV show The Wandering Dead and Stephen King's terrible novel Pet Sematary are just a few of them.
To sum up, fantasy is one of the most important and widespread forms of pop music and literature. Ranging from its tens of subspecies and its compatibilities with other musical forms to its capacity to adapt to any type of medium, the impact of imagination cannot be likened to many other musical forms.
