Participation in the poetry competition

Many thanks for your interest in our writing competition. Participation in a poetry competition can inspire you to complete a poem within a certain period of time. Participation in the poetry competition | Creative communication Pupils must be at home (public, home or private) in the United States. Pupils can enter on their own or be registered by a parents or teachers. Contributions must be written in English and must be the work of the university.

Courses K-9 open to schoolchildren. The length of a poem must not exceed 21 rows (blank rows between the punches are not counted).

We' re looking for poetry of all genres - rhymes, free verses, haikus and more - for the thirteenth Annual Writer's Digest Poetry Awards! The only Writer's Digest contest exclusive to poet. Type any 32 line or less of poetry to earn $1,000 in real time. Are you already registered? A winner of the first place receives:

Submissions must include the necessary participation fees (credit or debit cards, cheque or payment order to F+W Media, Inc.).

Cheques will be honored within 60 workingdays after the end of the contest. The participation fee is non-refundable. You must submit your contribution in the English language, unedited and unedited and must not be approved by any other publishing house or manufacturer at the date of filing. Writer's Digest reserves the one-time, non-exclusive right to publish the winner contributions, which will be posted in a Writer's Digest work.

Every song that is released somewhere on the internet is deemed to be out. Items must be written and formated on 8-1/2 x 11 or A4 pages. We do not want your name, your e-mail and telephone number to appear in the input data as this information is gathered on the input data sheet. Inputs that exceed the line boundaries are invalidated.

Because of US government constraints we cannot allow Syrian, Iran, North Korea or Crimea registrations. Please see our preparation page or our FAQ page for more information.
