The aim of this course is to help you understand creative writing and its capabilities. Fostering your ability to be an innovator and freelance author. This course allows you to explore your own writing, to question other people's works and your own. The course will also provide you with an insight into the publishing opportunities for your creative writing.

Writing creatively: Behind the scenery at the RA | Events

Authors Chris Sykes will guide the group in creative writing to investigate the intersection between the two. "We will be open to inspire and write in "secret rooms" and concealed passageways around the school.

Starting from this installment and the Burlington House history, we will concentrate on the definition, research, development, perspective, and construction and design of a play of notion. This course is designed to provide authors with experiences in an area of this beautiful heritage edifice that is normally inaccessible to them and to help authors acquire hands-on observational and writing abilities as they create this new fictional work.

Themes of the week could be: describing, writing from observations, building atmospheres, the elements of writing and writing styles, maintaining a notepad, how to find idea for storys, writing about the place as the stage for a storyline, and describing humans as possible personalities. The students will learn about the different sentiments that can release the original materials and initiate writing, as well as the meaning of specific details and the use of pictures.

Throughout the course there will be a lot of hands-on writing, both in the classroom and in the classroom. In the first three meetings the tutor's inputs, discussion of the subject and writing on the spot are included.
