Massy Univeristy - this college provides various written courses for 1-2 semesters, which can be taken alone or as part of a course of study.
Topics are jounalism, poesy, travel, creative and medial screenwriting. The Master in Creative Writing is then available on-line and is supervised by renowned coaches. This allows the author to concentrate on his own work while at the same time enhancing his craftsmanship. The NZ Writers' College - provides a wide range of on-line writing courses with individual instruction from renowned author.
The courses include jounalism, creative writing, economics and subjects such as editorial work and blogging. NorthTec- has three degrees available for you. Includes all genres of literature and non-fiction writing, as well as writing for kids in Te Reo Maori and English, and an editorial document for authors.

The University of Waikato - has a series of paperwork that includes scholarly and creative writing with extra study of computer screens, news and theater. The Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) - provides a variety of paperwork at the diploma and post-graduate levels. Includes Creative Writing Workshop, Writing Project (both evenings classes), Screenplay, Advance Screens Writing, Professional and Technical Communication (online).
We also offer the Level 5 National Diploma in Journalism, a Postgraduate Diploma in Communication (with a focus on Professional Writing) and Postgraduate Honours and Masters degrees with a focus on research and creation of a work. The Whitireia Community Polytechnic - has a series of full and parttime courses in creative writing, including knowledge of German and his National Degree in Journalism. The letter for audio broadcasting is linked to the degree in journalism. School for young authors - provides a broad variety of courses and programs for authors 8-19 years. Univeristy of Canterbury - in additon to a number of courses in writing and creative writing materials (not available every year), this univeristy has a Master in Fine Arts - Creative Writing.
Here the authors carry out a large individual study as well as an extensive article and an examination. The Hagley Writers' Institute, located in Christchurch, provides a one-year part-time course for authors working in both fiction and literature, with a late year submission program. The Otago University - A series of semester-long lectures at sub-grade levels are held in the field of Creative Writing.
Cowriting Dunedin - a series of small class courses in Dunedin, from one-day Saturday courses to 8-10 weeks courses in memoir, literature, poetry and manuscripts. Wanaka Autumn Art School - a 5-day yearly writing course for beginners to intermediate, currently instructed by Jillian Sullivan.
