Childrens Writing - Who is writing children's books?
Theoretically, everyone â you do not need any specific training or skills to be able to write for kids. However you need to have certain qualities to make it as a childrens author. Firstly, and most important of all, you must like kids and want to want to work for them. You will probably be much more comfortable with what kids like and already do.
You will also find it much simpler to just have a seat and start writing if you are passionately interested. There really is no point that thinks you are writing for kids because you are hoping to acquire very large lots of moneys from it or you want to be as famed as JK Rowling. Second, you must be able to help your child comprehend how they think and what interests them.
It can be simpler if you have constant exposure to kids â do you see your grandchildren and newborns? You have your own kids or do you work where you are in touch with them? Accessing kids regularly is the perfect way to try out your own idea â they will soon let you know if they find it bothersome.
Next, you need to know what the competitors are and that means to read fashionable children's books to see what other folks write for kids and what editors accept. It is a good notion to write down the songs of your favorite kids, because the ones you like are probably the foundation of what you want to write.
First, it's primordial to think about what types of children's books you want to create â pedagogical, imaginative, science fi l, humor, comedyâ and what ages you want to work for. They could be writing storybooks for the very young, or storybooks for 6-7 year-olds, or maybe they want to create books for young people.
And last but not least, you should consider whether you want to work as a full-time or part-time employee or as a passion. Of course, this has an impact on how much you invest in writing your children. So as you can see, there are plenty of things that you need to think about when you are considering becoming a songwriter.
