Her particular liking for textbooks that gamble with the tropics but give them a surprise level of emotive sophistication. She' d like to find feminism in all genres with a fascinating, reflective feministic sensitivity. She wants to find especially middle-class, YA or grown-up literature that tell an emotive tale in an extraordinary way - like Mitali Perkins' YOU BRIING THEISTANT NEAR, in which she explores the sorority, first affection and heritage of the culture over three generation of women; or Maggie Stepfathers THE SCORPIO RAACES, which transforms the celtic saga of the hippopotamus into something wild, inventive and wondrous.

Several of Laura's YA deal includes Maggie Stepfathers #1 NYT and USA Today bestseller The Raven Cycle and Printz Honor finalists THE SCORPIO J. It deals exclusively with children's books: yas and literature and non-fiction, sectional literature as well as literature and non-fiction. Whatever the style, Caryn is looking for emotionally deep and powerful voices, great lyrics in a closely drawn narrative, and personalities that will stay with her long after the book is finished.

She tends in YA to read thought-provoking novels and crying novels; in high school and chapters, laughing is the leitmotif; in picture-book stories and the mind are lyric. Her love of intellectual and risky textbooks is very natural.

She is attracted to modern YA and mid-range with a powerful vocals, multi-faceted personalities, sophisticated relations, nice script and a well-developed catch. A great worldview is indispensable, whether it is a space that almost becomes a book personality, or a slight imaginary feature in a singular tale anchored in fact.

She is particularly interested in textbooks for young people dealing with the issues of variety and interrelations. She' d be excited to see more textbooks that investigate a different cultural background and textbooks in which the ethnic nature of the characters is not the subject. Loves an impotent romantic with an ill-informed protagonist who is not just brushed off her legs by a superhero; a cute, fun or touching middle-class novel with a catch that sets him apart from the masses would be very popular; and loves lyric, non-institutional picture-book briefs and character-based, not too cute picture-book fictions.

She' s always open to great children's work that doesn't fall into these classes as long as it makes her smile, makes her cry and keeps her up late at night, either reads the script or thinks about it. It does not advocate any grown-up project. Coming from Caryn, Tom Angleberger, writer of the NYT, USA Today, PW, and National Indie bestseller Origami Yoda Serie (Amulett/Abrams); Cece Bell, writer and illustrated Newbery Honor, Eisner Award and NYT bestseller graphics novel memoir, EL DEAFO (Abrams);

On Facebook (agentsonnack) and Twitter (@KSonnack) she talks about children's literature and a gluten-free nutrition. Particular interests for novel are contemporaries, thrillers, sci-fi, humour, horrors and memoirs. That could mean the dolce of an" I LYou " picture book, or the shock of a YA exploring a substantial part of the teenage adventure in a way she has never consider.

she' living in Los Angeles with her family. Jennifer is interested in picture -book writers, illustrations and illustrated writers who contribute an unmistakable, well-developed perspective to their work. She' s particularly fond of mid-sized fictions and YA, especially imaginary imaginations that differ from common quest (portals accessed by characters who fulfil prophecy do not have a tendency to be for them).

Some of the most used titles in her early life libraries were rather imaginary adventure, surviving histories and overflowing atmosphere with Dickenschen turns and satisfactory clues. It attracts all this, but even modern realist fictions can work for it, especially if they are voice-controlled and meticulously organized. Jennifer is represented by Jenny Meyerhoff's cartoon The Barftastic Life of Louie Burger (FSG/Macmillan);

Kate Hannigan's cute chapterbook serial Cupcake Cousins (Disney*Hyperion) and her historic middle-class novel THE DETECTIVE'S ASSISTANT (Little, Brown/Hachette), which won the Golden Kite Award for Medium Degree Fiction 2016, got two stars, was a Booklist Editor's Choiice and was published on the Amelia Bloomer List 2016. Headquartered in Chicago, Jennifer likes to speak at CTBWI and other author conventions in Chicago and beyond. They represent authors and illustrations for picture-book ( "Belletristik" and "Sachbücher"), intermediate and YA. Kathleen likes to smile when it comes to picture-book art, relax and enjoy witty, character-stressed tales with a passion.

It would be pleased to find further histories and what some call "fictional" picture-book ( "fictional" stories linked to the common core). She is thrilled that she finds middle-class stories in all categories. It particularly relishes the medium-sized businesses with powerful topics of friendliness and familys. Kathleen likes language-driven contemporaries (and especially magic realism), captivating imagination with memorable personalities, historic phantasy and romanticism with a lot of chemicals for YA-romances.

A few of her medium-sized tracks are Lois Sepahban's touching story, PAPER WISHES (Margaret Ferguson/Macmillan), Jess Keating's comic My Life is a Zoo Series ( "Sourcebooks") and Lindsay Curries intelligent, enigmatic THE PECULIAR INCIDENT ON SHADY STREET (Aladdin/S&S). Among his most recent publications are Josh Funk's rebellious LADY PANCAKE AND SIR FRENCH ToAST ( "Sterling"); Lori Alexander's enchanting FAMOUSLY PHOEBE ( "Sterling");

A few of the issues she cares about (and would like to find in picture-book or novel writing) are environmental protection, wildlife protection, human rights, scientific womens, literary, technological and little-known occurrences or historical human beings. Kathleen also sells selected grown-up non-fiction and is interested in minds, bodies and souls.

He holds an MA in Children's Literary Studies from San Diego State University. Besides her love for children's fiction, she likes pets (especially dogs!), crystal, tartans and would never say no to meals from Mexico. Lara is active in picture-book research in search of picture-book authors who offer different points of view in her work, especially those that are under represented in children's music.

At Intermediate Lara is keen to find new, fun, surprising, imaginative and easy fantasies; smart secrets that guess the reader to the end (and turn the page over); and ground-breaking, heart-rending modern realist destiny, all with a keen eye for space and an extraordinary story. Lara is looking for transforming, scrolling, character-based fun in every kind of music.

She' s particularly enthusiastic about sumptuous obscure imagination that is surprising and delightful; awe-inspiring and frightening sci-fi; language-driven and fast-paced modern realist rhetoric; vibrant historic rhetoric; and sinister mystery with satisfactory turns and untrustworthy narratives (she still wants a YA Tana French!). Several of Lara's latest books and novelties are Ross Burach's HI-FIVE: ALL-STARS! and POTTY ALL-STARS (both Scholastic); and Anne Sibley O'Brien's ABRACADABRA!

Among her most recent and upcoming illustrated books are the writer and graphic artist Ross Burach's PINE AND BOOF: Lara's current illustrated book covers Kirsten Larson's MAKING OF A STAR (SCIENTIST) (Chronicle) and WOOD, WIRE, WINGS (Calkins Creek/Boyds Mills); and Tami Charles' feature book FEARLESS MARY (Albert Whitman). With her two young girls and too many novels, she is living in the Bay Area. comJennifer is representing writers and graphic designers of picture-book, middle-school and YA tales and is active in her work. Though she specialises in children's writing, she also advocates adults' writing, both written and commercially, especially criminal, tension and terrorism.

She is attracted to picture book from stupid to cute, but she always values a good portion of humour and a kind of surprises at the end. She enjoys all types of genre when it comes to the small and medium-sized business, among them adventure, mystery, creepy but not too creepy spirit tales, humour, realist contemporaries and fanciful.

She' a jerk for plotting where anyone could be a twin agents, even the child next-door. He is a regular speaker at scriptwriting meetings across the nation, such as the San Francisco Writers Conference, the Northern Colorado Writers Conference and localscBWIs.
