You can store your students' work with Interactives. Developed for grade 2 and 3 pupils, this unit will demonstrate the book review typing experience and provide suggestions for the publication of studentpay.
As soon as the student has a basis for the book review elements and the book review layout, they select a favourite book and start writing a review. Eventually, by recording them on video or putting them on line, they will be able to post their own review. Instructors can help the reader understand the text by giving him the ability to decode, help him to expand and activate his previous understanding, motivate his pupils and involve him in his own reactions to the text.
Instructors are able to inspire the pupils through genuine study outcomes. A genuine "literacy event" gives pupils the chance to read and write in a social setting, e.g. when they read or write a book review. Instructors can also involve pupils in their own reactions to the text and help them assess and criticise it so that they become discerning texttellers.
A further important element in promoting understanding is the combination of literacy. By endeavouring to help pupils to recognise the process of literacy in parallels, pupils can begin to realise that literacy is a meaningful activity.
