Maybe one of the first things that emerging composers do when they begin their work is to look for, study and get inspiration from a range of typing hints and hints from accomplished people. There is a lot of wise advices about how to write on the web, but sometimes it is good to listen to contemporary publishers who are well acquainted with the latest developments in this area.

At the Young Adult Literature Conference 2016 in London (#YALC for short) YouTuber and author Xina Hailey asked 65 YA-author for their tip no. 1 for new and upcoming contributors. Hints themselves vary from hands-on to inspiring, and all are thoughtful and enjoy able to enjoy reading.

There is definitely a great deal, and since this is a fairly dramatic contribution, you should think about these hints and consider how they will help you. "In essence, type burdens.... just do it a great deal, just type so many different kinds of things you can..... it doesn't have to be anything special, but the best thing you can do is just get many words on the page and keep going and keep improving.

"When you don't think you can complete a novel, begin a brief history, then there's a lot less to do. "Keep rewriting when you have the opportunity to sharpen and refine, and when you have someone who can do the reading for you.... that's really good.

You want to be a novelist, you have to pen. There is no witchcraft in the game; the more you type, the more you study and the better you become. "Sketch something. Doesn't care what, doesn't care where it is.... just the thing to get it down..... put everything on it and don't be shy, don't be shy, just try it.
